A Keto McAlisters Review

A Keto McAlisters Review

McAlister’s, a chain of low-carb restaurants, has been in business for more than 20 years. They’ve got several locations across the country and they’re known for their delicious soups and salads. I decided to try out their menu using the Keto diet while on vacation in Florida last month. Here’s what I found:

Is McAlister’s broccoli cheddar soup keto?

McAlisters has a broccoli cheddar soup and it is not keto. This comes as no surprise, since the chain is known for its heavy cream and cheese-laden menu items. In fact, McAlister’s has been accused of making its food “keto-friendly” by adding high-fiber ingredients like kale into their dishes without changing the recipe or offering customers any nutritional information about how much fiber they’re getting (or whether it matters).

This can be especially frustrating if you’re on a ketogenic diet because there are better options available at McAlisters—like this spinach artichoke dip that doesn’t have any added carbs at all! If you’d rather stick with your regular order instead of trying something new tonight but still want to find out if something could possibly fit within your macros or not then check out our list below:

How many carbs are in McAlister’s broccoli and cheese soup?

1/2 cup serving has 12g carbs and 1 cup has 24g.

The serving size for this product is 2 cups.

How many carbs are in a Caesar salad from McAlister’s?

The Caesar salad at McAlister’s has a carb count of 3.5 grams per serving. This includes the lettuce, croutons and dressing. The chicken is a major source of carbs as well—it contains 7 grams per serving. Caesar dressings typically contain lots of cream cheese or Parmesan cheese which also add up to high-carb counts; they’re often combined with anchovies, so watch out if you’re watching your sodium intake!

How many carbs are in McAlister’s Chicken Tortilla Soup?

McAlisters Chicken Tortilla Soup has about 5g of carbs per serving. This can be a lot, but it’s not too bad. The only other thing that you need to know about the carb content is that it’s made with ground chicken, which means that it has a lower-carb count than McAlister’s Shrimp & Rice soup, which has 4g per serving and more than double the fat (17g) and sodium (300mg).

If you’re looking for something lighter with less carbs or fat (and less sodium), try making your own low-carb tortilla soup at home!

How many carbs are in McAlister’s mac and cheese?

McAlister’s mac and cheese is not a keto friendly food. The reason for this is because it has a lot of carbs in it, which means you’ll need to watch your carb intake on the ketogenic diet.

If you’re looking for a good low-carb alternative to this dish, try making your own version at home! It’s easy enough that anyone can do it (even those who don’t know what “mac” means).

How many carbs are in McAlister’s country potato soup?

McAlisters Country Potato Soup has 1 cup of the soup, which is equal to about 0.6 liters (or 5 ounces). This means that one serving has 19 grams carbs, 5 grams fiber and 4 grams protein. The amount of calories in this dish is 315 per cup serving.

The amount of fat contained in this product is zero grams; however, sodium content ranges from 150mg per serving (1/4 cup) up to 230mg per serving (1/3 cup).

How many carbs are in McAlister’s chili?

The carb count in McAlisters chili varies depending on how much you add. For example, 1/2 cup of chili contains 16g of carbs and 1 cup contains 32g. In other words, if you’re counting just the amount of carbs from the whole serving (1/2 cup) then there are 16 grams in that portion. If you want to know how many grams there are when eating 1 serving then multiply those two numbers together:

16 * 2 = 32

  • 1 = 32

The menu at McAlister’s was pretty limited for a Keto diet, but there are a few options.

The menu at McAlister’s was pretty limited for a Keto diet, but there are a few options.

  • The Italian Sausage Sandwich was okay. It wasn’t too bad and it wasn’t too good either; it just tasted like something you’d get at your local grocery store and not anything special.
  • The Meatball Sub was pretty good! You can get it with marinara sauce or pesto sauce on top and I recommend trying both of them because they’re both delicious! This would be our favorite choice here if we were going to eat here again in the future (also because we didn’t like any other options).

If you’re looking for some healthier choices then maybe try one of the salads instead? They have lots of different kinds including Caesar Salad ($7), Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad ($9), Greek Salmon Salad ($9) etc.. If none of those sound appealing then just stick with what everyone else seems most interested in eating: burgers!

The salads at McAlisters are a great way to get your daily serving of greens and fiber. But beware – most McAlister’s salad dressings are loaded with hidden sugars, so it’s not a good idea to eat one of these when following a keto diet. You can also substitute salad dressing for another low-carb option. You can even order a dinner salad, if you’d like, without the corn tortillas.

For breakfast, McAlister’s deli offers a selection of delicious sandwiches. Those with a gluten allergy will want to avoid caramelized onions and au jus. On the other hand, those with wheat allergies can enjoy fresh baked potatoes topped with chicken or bacon. Whether you’re craving a quick meal or an entire meal, you’re sure to find a keto McAlisters meal that is satisfying and delicious.

Overall, McAlister’s is not a great option for someone following a Keto diet. However, if you are looking for a place to grab some lunch or dinner on the go, then this might be an option for you.
